Weekly Progress 03/29/2008
What did I do wrong this week?…well, I was trying too hard and it backfired! That’s what happened. I got sick and gained weight (of course), because I didn’t listen to my body. It was really frustrated but lessons learned. Despite major setback I’m in a better mood today because I know I’ll have an awesome upcoming week.
I’ve focused too much on the scale on my weekly progress posts by writing how much weight I’d lost or gained. So I’ll only update it on my weight loss progress page. From now on I’m just going to write about my success I make each week, this way I’ll be more inspired to do the tasks needed to lose weight.
My success:
- 2 sessions of natalie then and now workout dvd
- 2746 walking steps
By the way, the smilies on the comment form are now clickable again. Just to let you know.

delurking to say BE KIND TO YOURSELF.
forget the weight gain (I know it is difficult), recover and then get back at it!
M.
My scale is actually broken at the moment, so that’s an enforced way of reducing my focus on scale weight!
After an initial crazy thought went through my brain along the lines of “So if I can’t check my weight, I can eat lots and I won’t notice any weight gain!”, now I think I’m actually better off without it, for awhile anyway.
I’m exercising well and eating well and not feeling stressed out about making sure I do the healthy things – I just am. Funny how the mind work sometimes.
Focusing on success and on the good habits that bring you success is the way to go!
Honestly, unless you let those good habits go during the week, the weight gain is more likely to be a water fluctuation than anything else.
Feel better soon!
