Wake Up Feeling Awesome Everyday

Posted on April 1, 2008 2:40 pm

Do the exercise, go to bed and wake up feeling fitter and gorgeous everyday! That was the epiphany I got this morning after having done exercise yesterday. If you’re not feeling on the top today, just know that you’re awesome! You’ve qualities that other people need. Play on your strength and bring it out. It could be anything from being fun, caring, social, party girl/guy, detail oriented, determined, or serious. Honoring the differences in people will help you become more happy with who you are as a person. Because you know they need you and you need them.

Are you a judgmental person? You may say “No”, but watch your own reaction when you read news. How do you respond to it? How do you know what true or not true in the news? Take celebrities for example, do you hate Paris? Or hate Trump? If you don’t like somebody, you should learn the positive qualites from them and apply it to your life. Being judgmental is preventing you from feeling gorgeous and be the awesome person you should be.

A big shout-out to everyone who is reading my blog YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Oh, and a big thank you to Cynthia, Lady G, MizFit, and Desi for leaving comments and showing support last week. It means so much and was a big help, I’m getting up on my feet faster now.

Sometimes we get down on ourselves. Externally because of others or outside forces, internally mainly because of ourselves.
Helping each other through positive reinforcement is a big part of the answer. I like how you use that with your example of celebrities.

One might say this is a gorgeous post :)

Lucky person who gets to wake up with you each morning! Thanks for the pep talk! And yes, I’m judgemental…

Not being negatively judgmental is a life-long thing I’ve got to watch out for, and I’m sure most people do. Unfortunately the more you criticize the others the easier it is to criticize yourself, and you are so right that everyone is different and everyone has something different of value to offer. The older I get the more I realise there is no “normal” or “right” way to be - it depends on you!

I do feel fitter and great the next day! Of course, the day I exercise, I tend to come home… get meals in and then go kind of zombie for a while, LOL! But that’s getting better!

I have to try harder to be less judgemental, because I do tend to criticize myself too harshly… no doubt why I never wake up and get the gorgeous part, LOL!

With the right thoughts, we would make forward to way up!

Waking up is truly better than the alternative - at least from our present perspective. I believe that you can “choose” to have a great day, simply by making that decision each day, then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I also identified with your thoughts on how we view “high-profile” people. We should all be a little less judgmental, relax and try to get along.

Thought I’d pop over and try testing your CommentLuv again, since you weren’t sure if it was working. Box IS checked.

I don’t know why it isn’t working for you, wish I was technically oriented enough to figure it out, but I’m not, sigh. Maybe you could Google and see if anyone else has had this problem and then see if anyone found a solution to get it working.

Makes me think that the mind truly rules matter.
Like Jessica said, positive thinking can be trained. My employees can be a real pain in the a%$, but if you learn to think pink everything is much nicer.
