Sitting too long can kill you

In other words, irrespective of whether you exercise vigorously, sitting for long periods is bad for you.” – The NY times
I’m sedentary most of the time, but when I started standing most of my day my body is working better and my weight doesn’t creep up!
I got rid of the computer desk, and use the drawer instead. It works perfect, cables are hidden and I got some extra storage.

I get a lot of standing while I am cooking and checking my gardens, but I guess I kind of draw the line at the computer. I just try not to spend too much time in front of it. I sort of go about my chores & activities and then computer time is where I rest my feet/ankles when they start to hurt too much.
‘Course, if my arms are hurting too, then it’s sit and read time, LOL!
