Progress or No Progress?

By HappySkinnyGirl

My old scale was a little off and I had to step on it 3 times to get accurate readings so I bought a new one, a tanita scale. Thanks Cynthia! No more stepping like crazy 🙂 I didn’t get my exercise today, but I did some cleaning instead. My home is now free from clutter, yay! I love minimalist style, but it’s hard to put away stuff when I’ve so many hobbies.

My eating habit was poor this week because my “monthly friend” is coming to a visit. Plus, I went to a birthday’s party and I ended up eating too much. I was hungry and sort of forgot that I shouldn’t eat that much! The following days were not better either. I overate because it made me feel normal. Anyway, because of that my scale is up and erasing all the work I’ve done in the past. Actually, I’m not feeling down because I’m feeling more fit and flexible now than I ever was in the past. Plus, I don’t eat as much as I used to. I’ve trouble with food and I realize it’s going to take some times to fix it, even though I’ve a lot of strategies written down.

While I’m on this journey I’ve learned that this is not about rigid schedule/lifestyle, being on or off the wagon, but being flexible enought to stay on course and continue the journey.

I should start de cluttering too. Like you I have so many hobbies that I want to do all in the same time lie blogging, reading books, cooking and jewelery making. But I guess that is impossible to do.

I also tend to have lots of craving when the “friend” comes. You have a great attitude! You should definitely not feel guilty of having some splurging once in a while. Enjoy and goodluck on the journey.

I like the tone and the aim of your blog that we can pick up good habits that are good for us. Wellness and fitness of body and mind are things that we can train ourselves to achieve.

This is a winning way of thinking, bang on!

De-cluttering always seems to be an ongoing process. Bit by bit, I’m weeding more of it out. Seems like now that I’m older, less is more, if you know what I mean.

Paperwork is my worst struggle though.
