How time flies! Last time I blogged was four weeks ago. My weight is about the same, the good news is my blood pressure is getting better. Yay! :)

I’ve cleaned up my diet and I’m feeling awesome and less puffy.

69.2kg (152.4lbs) this morning. No big changes since last week. Still feeling a little bit sick, but it’s time to clean up my diet. As soon as I eat some chips my body doesn’t response well. It holds onto water and my weight yo-yo up quite a bit. I’m going to blog more often, even if it’s going to be about the same thing but it’ll keep me focus. I feel I need to step up, been gaining back around 5kg (11lbs) since my lowest weight. But so far,  total loss of 4.5kg (9.9lbs) :)

This morning I’ve a toast with almond butter on it, and a glass of yummy green smoothie drink. I know, it doesn’t look green. But it’s kale and mix baby greens in it. I don’t really like banana but it’s fine having it in the smoothie.  I use my new KitchenAid blender and absolutely love it, because it’s simple to handle and easy to clean. :)

Ingredients

1 red apple
1 cup of raspberries
1/8 honeydew melon
1 big leaf of kale (stem removed)
1 handful of mixed baby greens
1 lemon (juice)
1 banana
1 cup of water
1 1/2 cups of ice

It’s hard to have routines when my partner works shift. I feel out of balance… or maybe it’s just an excuse. So we’re trying to get up early and go to bed early, and implementing more naps. Our goal is to get more routines into our lives and hopefully getting less fatigued and get a more balanced life.

The good thing with getting up early is that I think more about sleep and getting to bed early than thinking about late night snacks. It feels good because I have had some trouble sleeping lately mainly due to my partners work. Let’s see how this will work out.

It’s going really great right now! I’ve been back and forth about the scale, but I think it’s best to do both the weigh in and taking weekly photo.

Current weight: 65,7kg (144.8lbs)

Start: 67.2 kg(148.2lbs)

Sometimes I forget to wear my pedometer because I don’t move so much, but I am pleased with the last week’s performance anyway. It’s my aunt flow week so I took it easy this weekend. Usually, I used to eat a lot and move as little as possible during this week. I’m trying to get in a little more exercise and will only rest 2-3 days at the most. So today I’m going to take a little walk to the grocery store.

The best thing I’ve done this week was walking back and forth to town, almost 12 000 steps! I’m keeping it simple with just walking, occasionally running and playing badminton. I love having noodle soup for breakfast every day but I’m trying to get some variety, maybe oatmeal one day and pancakes the next day. But not noodles every day.

A little less bloated, maybe?

Week 2

Week 1

Oh no! Me, high blood pressure? That only happens to others! “It’s normal at my age” she said. I can comfort myself that I’m normal. ^ ^ No wonder I haven’t been feeling well now and then. Luckily, it’s nothing serious but it’s a sign that I really have to get rid of my abdominal fat.

From now on I’ll be taking pictures instead of weighing myself every week.

Current weight: 67.2 kg(148.2lbs). This is embarrassing but it might help me become more motivated. ^ ^
