After having lunch at Huseliiharen we did a mini tour to marskarsudden in Utvalnas today.
Oh, how I love late summer ♥
It’s fabulous weather today and M’s father came to visit us from Stockholm. We discovered Gavle’s most cozy place to eat lunch at, Huseliiharen which lies on the coast of Engesberg marina. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. On a day like this, I long to have our own beach house.
Favorite spot ♥
It feels like I’ve been away in Thailand for a month! It has been fun to meet all the relatives and got a chance to spend time with one of my best childhood friends. We visited her sugarcane plantation, picked longan fruit from her backyard, and visited historic parks. I’m very impressed that she takes care of the plantation all by herself! Unfortunately, we did only spend one day at the beach, so next time we’re planning to go directly to one of the islands.
We’ve to cancel our road trip to the west coast this summer, because we’re going to Thailand early next year instead. Last year major parts of Thailand was flooded. But this time, we’re going to the beach in Hua Hin first. Hope for the best that my boyfriend won’t need to visit the hospital again this time.
Not the best place to get car trouble in a flooded village, but we did.
My cousin and niece are waiting for the driver to get back from the gas station.
I spend a day in a tropical place at the Butterfly House in Stockholm yesterday. It felt like I was in the rainforest. It was great to just sit there and enjoy the “forest”. One of the areas had very high humidity, so I couldn’t take any pictures because the camera lens got foggy.
The fish was really BIG!
Warning! Predatory fish
